About...

My name is James Elder and I am currently the Web Design Specialist at the Orange County Library System in downtown Orlando, FL. Previously, I have worked as a Lead Graphic Designer and as an independent consultant.

I have six years of experience as a Graphic and Web Designer and I also hold an Associate of Science Degree in Computer Animation and a Bachelor’s of Science in Entertainment Business. I understand the fundamentals of branding and logo recognition and have an eye for color composition and design. I am comfortable with project deadlines and budgets and the "occasional" hard to please client. I have experience managing a team and I can work as an individual.

My Skills...

I am familiar with many of today’s leading software programs including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Autodesk Maya, Adobe Premier, and Final Cut Pro. I am also very comfortable using CSS, ASP, HTML, Action Script 2.0, and either Windows or Mac OS.
